Introducing Yury Birilov

Yury Birilov's “Jingle Bams” is a horror thriller that pulls you in from the beginning, and never lets you go, while fearlessly calling out the commercialization of the Christmas holiday and reminding us that there is more to the season than just spending money. Now that the cheery-eyed view of the holidays are over we can look back with a bit more introspection.

Artist, lyricist, and visionary, Nomis Alekesn is revolutionizing the contemporary music scene...

He is known as the lead vocalist of the band Astronautiqx, but Nomis Alekesn lives and breathes music. With a solo career that is soaring, he is the creator of ALPHA-AEON, which is his growing business that is geared directly toward the creation of all forms of art. Here, fans and viewers can witness Nomis’ evolution as an artist, as well as the growth of other artists in different crafts.

The rebel anthem “No More Mr. Nice Guy” was written at a time when pleasing the masses became an overwhelming chore, and Nomis said “to hell with it.” In December of last year, the single was released and became apparent that it was a song that was created with rage and wrath for the sake of peace and love. With the help of his band Astronautiqx, the live experience has proven to be nothing but stellar.

As a follow-up, Nomis Alekesn presents his newest clip “Indigo Child.” As leading actor, the video takes us through the mind of this tortured artist; viewers see a plethora of struggles, and witness the balance between multiple personalities. The scenes take on a Fight Club-esque atmosphere as we watch Nomis try to overcome the dark side of his character. “Indigo Child” is a song that represents the captivity of the human mind and what happens when one uses art to unleash their darkest fears. It’s a fascinating and cryptic accompaniment to the song itself and a super cool introduction to Nomis Alekesn.

Introducing Village Echoes

The most inspiring and unique bands are not the ones where musicians with identical musical tastes come together and just try to copy their shared inspirations. Rather, the best product comes from artists with a wide range of diversity in their influences, and each one bringing their own contribution to the musical equation. Sydney, Australia’s Village Echoes is the latter and this intricate rock trio has managed to create in their short time together a sound that will appeal to fans of everything from Bloc Party to Jimmy Eat World to Minus The Bear.

Village Echoes was born in Autumn of 2013 and quickly produced their debut EP Evolve, with optimizes their drive for diversity and desire not to become one dimensional. The AU Review notes that the band works with “weaving soundscapes mixed with a healthy dose of indie rock” and they noted that this young band has “a very mature sound.” Listening to Evolve and the sheer size of their sound, it’s sometimes difficult to remember that this band only consists of three members, Alex Almasi on vocals and guitar, Steve Parfitt on bass, and James Pounsett on drums.

Their standout track is “The Bike,” which is a thinly veiled kiss off about trading up for a new “bike” but then quickly realizing that this new toy isn’t as glamorous as they thought and that the pretty basket and seat are really just built for show, and not the durable kind you’d like to call your own. For the video for “The Bike” the band stays true to their simple approach and features themselves performing in front of a stark white background. Each member gets ample face time and is the perfect introduction to the band. The narrative follows a young lady who is out and about on her brand new bike, and while she is enjoying the ride on her new bike, she’s ultimately searching for something else. Will she find what she’s looking for or will her chase be futile? Check out the video to find out!

Introducing Duquette Johnston

Roots-focused Americana music has come back onto the scene with a strong ferocity, but while others seek the past for inspiration, Duquette Johnston emerges with this balance already infused. With his upcoming album Rabbit Runs A Destiny en route, his latest video and single recreates those roots.
HIP Video Promo is pleased to introduce “Dancing Song.”

The Dead Daisies are back with a live performance that will rock your socks off!

HIP Video Promo is pleased to once again work with this super group of rock and roll personalities on their no frills new video for the standout track “Washington.”

It was at the sold out show at the o2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London that director Phil Poole shows us just how rock and roll The Dead Daisies music really is in this captivating video. Every element of the live show is captured, from the backstage camaraderie, the soundcheck, and most importantly the killer live show. Images of the crowd bring to this live performance to life, and The Dead Daisies have an undeniably high energy throughout the entirety of the clip, showing us once again that there are few others that can match this level of showmanship. “Washington” is a song that excites rockers from every walk of life and this video is the perfect visual encapsulation of that feeling!
