Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings return with new album, Release “Stranger To My Happiness” music video

Over the years, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings have released a variety of albums on Daptone Records. Most recently, Soul Time! was released in 2011 and consisted of rare and previously unreleased tracks. Their sound is an elegant brew of gritty sounds reminiscent of gospel, soul, and funk genres. The nine-piece act continues to inspire and electrify fans from around the world with their raw and heart-felt sound. In preparation for the upcoming January 14th release of their newest album Give the People What They Want, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings are set for a string of TV and radio Performances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, CBS Saturday Morning News, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Conan and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Jones and the Dap-Kings are pleased to share with you the video for the single “Stranger To My Happiness” directed by Rob Hatch-Miller and Paloma Basu of Production Company Productions. The clip finds the band cast as a wedding band, captured at the end of the night, having fun after everyone else has gone. The festive performance displays Sharon Jones at a specific time in November, strutting a look that clearly illustrates a side of effect of her chemotherapy treatments. Miss Jones made a conscious decision that day, as she recalls: “Not wearing a wig and just being bald was an easy decision for me. I’ve always been me, and that’s not going to change now.”

Trevor Green, a California native, grew up on the beaches of Southern California where he spends as much time riding waves as he does playing the guitar. For the past decade, he has toured heavily, establishing a loyal fan base. Fusing world, funk, folk, and jam rock, Trevor Green’s music has a strong universal appeal.

After previously releasing independent album recordings entitled Wake and Reflections, and his third studio album Sacred Seed, this versatile artist makes use of vocals, didgeridoo, stompbox, harmonica, and five different guitar/string instruments. Green’s most recent notable accomplishment includes recording three songs for the major motion picture This Must Be the Place, starring Sean Penn.

The release of his third studio album Sacred Seed showed his prolific abilities as a songwriter and music performer. Straight from his most recent EP Collide comes “Lonesome Road,” which takes listeners on a journey through places that have become stuck in time. In the clip, Green captivates his audience and delivers a spellbinding performance that excites the importance of finding meaning in human existence. Relying heavy on the sound of the didgeridoo, an instrument often seen by Western audiences as a mere novelty, Green crafts a complex layering of sight and sound that lets the viewer race through the desert landscape of the video, hitting his stride early and never letting up until the last chord.

nECSTATIC iNCREDIBLE is an original studio project launched in 2008 by the composer, poet and instrumentalist Nicolas Wind, and a multinational cast of outstanding musicians. HIP Video Promo cannot be more excited to introduce his newest music video clip, “Perpetually Insane.”

The style of his first, experimental album SOMEONE WILL MAKE IT FOR ME can be described as pop rock that utilizes some of the basic elements of baroque and rococo music, such as polyphony and instrumentation. The second album BEATIFIC DISASTERS IN 3071 aimed at the devastating impact of capitalism on an individual, such as deprivation of privacy, mind-control, consumerism, brainwash, etc. taken from various angles.

nECSTATIC iNCREDIBLE’s dominant music style is a twisted collage of various rock genres. A new, live album, THE GO(O)DS MUST BE CRAZY is in a hard rock style. While still in the works, it is currently being thought to reflect political, religious and demographic aspects of our society. The following video “Perpetually Insane” emanates these exact ideas while exhibiting a highly contemporary, thought-provoking experience.

With the help of AMC’s popular television series The Walking Dead, society has become enthralled with the thought of a possible zombie apocalypse. Mighty Matt Saladino; however, puts a lighthearted spin on this sometimes-serious genre. Two versions of the tune exist: “Zombie Killer NYC” and “Zombie Killer” (Electric Club Remix). Both musical versions are unique unto themselves to say the least, but it is by far the outlandishly creative and entertaining music video which is written, produced, arranged, directed and even performed in animated character by Mighty Matt Saladino himself, that sets this animated music video far above the rest. Introducing Wayne William

Wayne William is an exceptionally talented Maltese singer/songwriter and music producer.
From his breakthrough album The Parade, HIP Video Promo presents his latest music video “Don’t Fade Away.”This multi-talented artist began performing professionally at the age of thirteen and fell in love with writing.

Over the years he has become incredibly dedicated to creating and producing his own compositions to perfection. After performing with the Mics and returning home from a UK tour with the former band Castaway, he launched his solo career as an artist. He has taken part in local and international festivals and has performed in concerts across the UK and Malta.

Recently, Wayne and his brother, Richard Edwards, created Battle of the Brothers, benefit concerts for Malta’s Puttinu Cares. The charity helps children with cancer get the treatment they need. His new album, The Parade was developed over the course of two years. Wayne not only wrote, recorded and produced the album, but he also launched his recording studio WM Studios in the process.

Artist, lyricist, and visionary, Nomis Alekesn is revolutionizing the contemporary music scene...

He is known as the lead vocalist of the band Astronautiqx, but Nomis Alekesn lives and breathes music. With a solo career that is soaring, he is the creator of ALPHA-AEON, which is his growing business that is geared directly toward the creation of all forms of art. Here, fans and viewers can witness Nomis’ evolution as an artist, as well as the growth of other artists in different crafts.

The rebel anthem “No More Mr. Nice Guy” was written at a time when pleasing the masses became an overwhelming chore, and Nomis said “to hell with it.” In December of last year, the single was released and became apparent that it was a song that was created with rage and wrath for the sake of peace and love. With the help of his band Astronautiqx, the live experience has proven to be nothing but stellar.

As a follow-up, Nomis Alekesn presents his newest clip “Indigo Child.” As leading actor, the video takes us through the mind of this tortured artist; viewers see a plethora of struggles, and witness the balance between multiple personalities. The scenes take on a Fight Club-esque atmosphere as we watch Nomis try to overcome the dark side of his character. “Indigo Child” is a song that represents the captivity of the human mind and what happens when one uses art to unleash their darkest fears. It’s a fascinating and cryptic accompaniment to the song itself and a super cool introduction to Nomis Alekesn.
